Alchemist are half-mad scientists with access to an arsenal of corrosive chemical compounds and invigorating elixirs. Equipped with a portable alchemy laboratory, Alchemist can spray acid and fire at enemies and inflict significant damage with their bladed claws.

Catalyst[edit | edit source]

Catalyst is the Ability Resource of Alchemists.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

PvE and PvP[edit | edit source]

AcidicSolution.png Acidic Solution Inflicts damage to the target and applies Acidic Solution effect that can be detonated by Combustible Solution.
Restores 100 points of Catalyst.
Activates Impulse charge.
This ability can be used either by tapping the button several times or by holding it down.
If the target has the Combustible Solution effect on them, it will inflict damage to the target and all enemies in a 8 yard radius of it for each level of Combustible Solution they have.
Has a 6% chance to apply Creeping Horror to the Alchemist for 15 seconds.
Creeping Horror allows you to activate Predatory Ectoplasm 3 times for free and increases its damage by 200%.
CombustibleSolution.png Combustible Solution Inflicts damage to the target and all enemies in a 8 yard radius of them, applying Combustible Solution that can be detonated by Acidic Solution.
Restores 220 points of Catalyst.
This ability can be used either by tapping the key several times or by holding it down.
If the target has the Combustible Solution effect on them, it will inflict damage to the target for each level of Combustible Solution they have.
Has a 6% chance to apply Creeping Horror to the Alchemist for 15 seconds.
Creeping Horror allows you to activate Predatory Ectoplasm 3 times for free and increases its damage by 200%.
PredatoryEctoplasm.png Predatory Ectoplasm The enemy is attacked by 2 blobs of ectoplasm that inflict damage on impact.
Increases the damage of the next use of the ability by 33% for 2 seconds. The effect stacks up to 3 times.
Activates Impulse charge.
ProtectiveShell.png Protective Shell Protects an ally from damage equal to 31% of the Alchemist's maximum health and removes control effects.
Protective Shell completely absorbs the first attack.
If Protective Shell is pierced, it will immediately recharge (only once in a row).
StimulantInjection.png Stimulant Injection Increases the Might of 3 allies in a 30 yard radius for 8 seconds by 50% of the Alchemist's Might.
Attack class allies take priority.
By activating the Impulse charge, the Alchemist reduces the cooldown of that ability by 4 seconds.
The ability recharges 2 times faster outside of combat.
At the end of the effect, these allies get Weariness for 8 seconds, which prevents them from receiving stat-boosting effects of active abilities of Support classes.
Abilities of support classes that transfer Might do not stack with each other.
Once the ability is used, no one in your group can use it for 60 seconds.
AlchemicTerminal.png Alchemic Terminal The Alchemist sets up a terminal filled with protective gas.
All allies in a 40 yard radius can use the terminal to gain 100% immunity to damage and control effects for 4 seconds</span).
Once this ability is used, no one in your group can use it for 60 seconds.
HealingEssence.png Healing Essence The Alchemist restores 40% health to all allies in a 7 yard radius and removes negative effects from them every 4 seconds.
The same ally cannot be healed more than once every 8 minutes.
Healing Essence also restores 80% of incoming damage to the Alchemist for the next 12 seconds.
DeadlyExperiment.png Deadly Experiment Inflicts fatal damage. Restores 1,500 points of Catalyst.
Deadly Experiment allies Experimental Compound to the Alchemist for 25 seconds.
The effect is removed by the next Acidic Solution or Combustible Solution.
Using Acidic Solution when the effect is active Stuns the target and knocks them down, inflicting additional damage and applying 8 levels of Acidic Solution at once.
Using Combustible Solution when the effect is active affects all enemies in a 12 yard radius, pulls them towards the target and applies 5 levels of Combustible Solution to them at once.

PvE only[edit | edit source]

Biotrap.png Biotrap The Alchemist throws 3 flasks: the central one pulls the enemies to the point of impact, the next one inflicts damage, and the last one increases the damage to enemies by 40% for 12 seconds.
Once the ability is used, no one in your group can use it for 160 seconds.
EnergyShower.png Energy Shower Increases the damage and movement speed of the Alchemist and all allies in a 20 yard radius by 30% for 9 seconds, making Dashes free and removing negative effects.
Once the ability is used, no one in the group can use it for 80 seconds.

PvP/solo only[edit | edit source]

Icon Name Description
ProtectiveMembrane.png Protective Membrane Creates a shield that blocks all incoming damage and reflects it back at the enemies.
The amount of reflected damage cannot exceed 60% of the Alchemist's maximum health.
For each second that you maintain the Protective Membrane, its cooldown is reduced by 1 second.
ToxicEmission.png Toxic Emission Inflicts damage to the enemies around the Alchemist. If Toxic Emission kills an enemy, a smaller version of the ability is activated at that spot.

SupportAura.png Power of Light Increases the damage dealt by the character and their allies in a 12 yard radius by 20%.

PvP/solo only[edit | edit source]

Icon Name Description
CausticCompound.png Caustic Compound Toxic Emission inflicts 6 times more damage to shields, and Predatory Ectoplasm slows down enemies by 15% for 8 seconds. The slowing effect stacks up to 6 times.

Thea Talent(PvE and PvP)[edit | edit source]

Icon Name Description
RadioactiveEctoplasm.png Radioactive Ectoplasm Creeping Horror increases the damage of Predatory Ectoplasm by 300% instead of 200%.
Using Stimulant Injection applies a special version of Creeping Horror to the Alchemist for 6 seconds. This version does not get consumed.
